Litb1 Google Scholar/Books Finds

Just as I have told the Litb3 group, Google Books is also a VERY useful place to have a snoop around in the run up to the exam. This ebook on narrative fiction has a really nice introduction which breaks down exactly what makes a narrative text different to other forms of writing - Aspects of Narrative!!

Anything that makes sense to you or you think you can link to any of the texts we have studied - jot a note of it down with your ideas!

Litb3 - Google Scholar/Books finds

Google Books is another resource worth tapping up. 

The following link will take you to an online copy of Gothic Literature - Andrew Smith . It is about Gothic Literature as a whole (as the title suggests) but will be highly useful if you are still unsure of what is meant by Gothic or wait can be considered as an aspect of Gothic. It may also help give you a bit of the context on the history of the Gothic.

Google Scholar

Hello lovely people! 

Over the Christmas holidays have a go at using Google Scholar to gain some further reading which will help with your AO3 - 'Different Interpretations. This part of Google allows you to search through millions of online academic essays that are going to be much more accurate than anything you find on Wikipedia! A lot of it may go over your head as it will be of at least a degree level of writing, but try and pull out anything that you feel you might be able to use in your own writing :)
